Basics of Biblical Interpretation: Revelation
Lesson 3 of 3
The Bible exorts us to “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). As we seek to determine the meaning of a text, how can we be sure that our interpretation is valid? Join RTS Orlando President Dr. Scott Swain as he teaches the principles of biblical interpretation. You will learn both the rules and the tools of interpreting different biblical genres (e.g., narrative, poetry, apocalyptic) and then apply them to various biblical texts.
This video is part three of three in the Teaching Women to Teach Course, “Rightly Handling the Word of Truth: Basics of Biblical Interpretation,” with Dr. Scott Swain.
