Dr. Gray Sutanto
Dr. N. Gray Sutanto is Associate Professor of Systematic Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary, Washington D.C. Ordained in the International Presbyterian Church, he has served as a teaching elder in Covenant City Church, Jakarta, Indonesia, and has received visiting fellowships at the Theological University of Kampen-Utrecht and Princeton Theological Seminary.
He did his doctoral work under the supervision of James Eglinton at the University of Edinburgh, focusing on the 19th century Dutch Reformed theologian, Herman Bavinck. He grew up in Jakarta and Singapore, and in his spare time enjoys watching indie movies, playing the guitar, and reading.
Gray has written God and Knowledge: Herman Bavinck’s Theological Epistemology (T & T Clark, 2020); (with Cory Brock), Neo-Calvinism: A Theological Introduction (Lexham Press, 2023); and God and Humanity: Herman Bavinck and Theological Anthropology (T & T Clark, 2024). With Cory Brock, he’s editor of the T & T Clark Handbook of Neo-Calvinism (T & T Clark, 2024).
