Vision
THE PAIDEIA CENTER WAS BORN IN RESPONSE TO THE QUESTION: HOW MIGHT RTS ORLANDO BETTER SERVE THE CHURCH BEYOND THE SEMINARY CAMPUS?
In answering this question, we sought to honor the two distinct missions of the church and the seminary.
As the people of God, the body of Christ, and the temple of the Holy Spirit, the church has the God-given mission of making disciples of all nations.
As a graduate school of theological education, the seminary’s mission is to provide specialized training in the Bible, theology, and ministry to the church’s pastors, teachers, counselors, and missionaries.
Seeking to answer our question while honoring these two distinct missions led us to conclude that the seminary might better serve the church by drawing on its specialized forms of training to resource the church in its God-given task of making disciples.
THUS THE VISION OF THE PAIDEIA CENTER WAS BORN:
Resourcing the church for whole life discipleship.
THE PAIDEIA CENTER SEEKS TO FULFILL ITS VISION THROUGH TRAINING, READING GROUPS, AND SPECIAL LECTURES.
